The Hendersonville Rotary Club donated $10,000 to the Henderson County Education Foundation (HCEF) mini-grants program to support innovative learning in the virtual classroom. The HCEF mini-grants program was able to award 62 grants to Henderson County Public School teachers impacting thousands of students in Henderson County.

“One of the major goals of The Hendersonville Rotary Club is to support education, our teachers and our students, in Henderson County. In the past we’ve done that by awarding many thousands of dollars in specific grants to teachers who apply, ” states Marybeth Burns, 2020-21 Hendersonville Rotary Club President. “COVID, obviously, has changed the way we’re able to do that this year. So when we heard about the Henderson County Education Foundation’s initiative to award Henderson County teachers significant grants, we knew this was the perfect way to help.”
