At HCEF, we value education.

The Henderson County Education Foundation exists to improve the educational experience for Henderson County students and teachers.

We do this by being responsive to the needs of educators, students, and our community. We are a partner to Henderson County Public Schools and serve as a liaison between our schools and those who can provide resources needed to achieve academic excellence. We engage private donors and foundations, business and corporate leaders, and community members in a strategic conversation about how to best support success and academic excellence within Henderson County Public Schools.

Through relationship-building, advocacy, and fundraising efforts, HCEF is able to provide funding to support:

The needs of our most vulnerable students
Post-secondary Scholarships to graduating seniors
Instructional support for Arts and Music Education
HCPS curriculum needs – Literacy & STEM
The introduction and expansion of Leader in Me throughout Henderson County Public Schools.

HCEF also reminds our community and our school families of the value of teaching with its annual celebration and recognition of the Educational Hall of Fame.
