What is the Education Hall of Fame?

The Henderson County Education Foundation Hall of Fame honors those individuals whose vision and contributions have redefined education, setting a standard of excellence that has profoundly advanced the field.

It recognizes leaders who have shaped Henderson County’s focus on educational excellence and preserves the county’s rich educational history. Since its founding in 2003, the Hall of Fame has honored more than 150 teachers, administrators, support staff, school board members, and champions of education, with up to five inductees each year.

The nomination window is open from early October to early January each year. The selection committee carefully reviews each application packet and decides who will be inducted. We proudly welcome the new class at our annual Education Celebration, where we highlight their achievements and celebrate their legacies.
