HCEF Celebrates 35 Years

On the 35th Anniversary of our founding, we didn’t want to let the month of October slip by without marking the occasion and once again recognizing our donors who do so much to ensure continued educational excellence in Henderson County. Established in October of 1986, the Henderson County Education Foundation has made significant contributions to benefit the children of Henderson County Public Schools.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors over the years, the Foundation has provided millions of dollars in program, grant and scholarship funding to the County’s children and public schools.

Through these funds, the Foundation has facilitated student achievement and skill development, recognized and encouraged staff excellence, and expanded community involvement from individuals, businesses, and civic organizations.

“Day in and day out, the Henderson County Education Foundation provides a stellar example of dedicated Henderson County citizens working tirelessly for the betterment of our community,” said Jessica Collins, Foundation Board President.

“Now and always, the Foundation remains dedicated to providing continuing support for a bright future for all of our children through education excellence in our Public Schools,” said Summer Stipe, Executive Director.
