Food for Thought

Food for Thought Week Returns to Henderson County, Jan. 20th-27th 2023

It’s hard to believe a cup of coffee, plate of food or a small appetizer could do so much.  But thanks to you and our 2023 restaurant partners, it does.

After a hiatus in 2021, Food For Thought returns to Henderson County Jan. 20-27th., easier and more streamlined to support food insecurities among HCPS students when they are away from school.

During that week, the public can visit any one of the participating restaurants below. Using the provided envelope at each restaurant, simply make a $5 donation to the Henderson County Education Foundation. That donation enters you into a drawing to win a $50 gift card to that restaurant.

For the last six years, our restaurant community has faithfully and generously supported the annual Food for Thought Campaign to support local public education. By dining in or taking out at these restaurants during Food for Thought, we’ll raise money to help HCPS students, and you possibly win a $50 gift card.

The more the often you visit one of the restaurants below and make that $5 donation the better your chances of winning.

The winners of the gift cards will be drawn at the close of the Food for Thought event on Jan. 27th and all winners will be notified by phone and email.
