The HCEF Board has decided to cancel this year’s in person event scheduled for April 28th to ensure the health and safety of our community members. As we are all going through uncharted waters during this time, we decided we might as well try something new, also. We will be having an online Education Celebration event on Thursday, May 14th at 7:00.

We are looking forward to reaching people where they are during this time – at home! It is also an opportunity to bring good news to our community during this crisis. The event will be a combination of live and pre-recorded content with the same goal of celebrating Henderson County education – honoring our Teachers of the Year, Hall of Fame Inductees and the work we are doing in our community. We will be sending more information about how to view the event soon!

While attending this online event will be free, we humbly ask that you consider donating the ticket price of $50, helping us fund much-needed services during this critical time.

Our society is filled with uncertainty and anxiety. Your help and support has been and will continue to be critical in making it through this difficult period. We want to reassure you of our ongoing commitment to the service of Henderson County Public Schools. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Stay well,

Summer Stipe
