Don Bryant received a B.A. from High Point University in Economics and Psychology before going on to earn a Master’s degree in School Guidance Counseling from Western Carolina University in 1980. A lifelong learner, Mr. Bryant returned to school again in 1989, when he received his EdS School Administration Degree from Western Carolina University.
Mr. Bryant has been commemorated for his commitment to students and to education in Henderson County numerous times, including as a recipient of the Henderson County Principal of the Year award in 1998 and the Junior Achievement Principal of the Year in 2004. Don Bryant served the students and faculty of Henderson County as a guidance counselor, assistant principal and principal for 25 years before his retirement in 2005.
